So Kingy in midfield, Simpson at right back, Amartey on bench to cover any midfield mishaps and also cover for right back. There is a balance in this squad I don't think I have seen before. We have Schluppy duppy back, also cover for the left side, this gives uncle Claudio options, he can tinker away to his hearts content, I feel quite optimistic, I will now go and hide until the games over, there must be some paint somewhere that needs watching to ensure it dries..

So Kante is out for a minimum of two games. I think this is the point where we realise who our best player is. Nobody covers ground like Kante and nobody recovers the ball like Kante. We are now going into a game with a team that are starting to find some self-belief and goals. It doesn't look good. 2-0 West Brim.

Tbh I'd hope that Inler is on the bench as midfield cover if Kingy gets the nod.
Amartey did OK on Saturday but he didn't look very comfortable on the ball imo and will be better served using the rest of this season to acclimatise to the PL.
Certainly no point chucking in an inexperienced player in a vital position when we have someone like Kingy available who we know will put a solid performance in.

Our best player? He's about the best in the league, certainly in that position anyway.
People always talk about keeping hold of Mahrez but I'd be absolutely amazed if Kante was still playing for us next season, even more so than Mahrez!

Massive blow to lose Kante for a couple of games however whilst not in the same mould, I think Kingy will come in and do a good job, he did well and contributed to our excellent start and also played well in the Cup. What Kingy will offer is the threat of a goal, got a feeling he may well bag an important goal in the next few days.

Newton was a frequent poster on the forum and reputed City fan for a number of years. He then decided that he'd rather be a Villa fan and ****ed off..this coincided with City being really shit and Villa being quite good.
He's back now...you can draw your own conclusions as to why.....
