I don’t like it as it narrows us in midfield. It may be enough to win, but it removes width and that doesn’t help us.

I think there's plenty of width. It's a 3-4-2-1 essentially so we still have 4 wide players. Perez and Barnes maybe playing slightly more narrow but the wing backs can get forward more.
