After lots of speculation Bob Geldof finally confirmed yesterday that there will be a similar concert to the original live aid, which will be known as Live 8, as its happening on the same day the G8 summit on july 2nd (typical i'm going to see Oasis on that day  ). Nothing has been confirmed yet, but it is expected to be held at Hyde Park, with some of the acts expected to play including U2, Paul McCarthy, Elton John, Madonna, Franz Ferdinand, Coldplay, Sting, Duran Duran and many more are likely to join up, including a rumoured spice girl reuinion (noooooooooooooooooooo!)

what does everyone think?

Good for charity and all that but other than that I couldn't give a toss...

Good for the pop stars, giving up a day or so whilst the royalty cheques pile up.
If Elton John donated half as much as he spends on parties and hamsters then Africa would be debt free overnight.
They should do a Live Pork, where every fit famous bird is auctioned off to the higgest bidder and they show it all on Sky Pay per view....

:? tablets time..

good thing, but i absolutely hate hate hate Bob Geldof :smt004 :smt004 :smt004 :smt004 :smt004
