Just read the 'mockery' interview with M&M, much of it was to be expected ie, I saved the club, in better shape when I left etc and he sold the club to good owners who are still good friends. No mention of the merry go round of managers which made the club look foolish, and perhaps most telling was his statement that he was looking forward to seeing the friends he had made whilst he owned the club Jon Rudkin being specifically mentioned. However at no time did he acknowledge Pearson and his role in getting us back into the Championship at the first attempt and then his subsequent sacking and the appointment of Sousa all of which he was the architect. It seems very clear to me that M&M and Pearson have a very negative history. I wonder what really went on between them when they were together at the City, something sparked Pearsons sacking, it always seemed a strange decision and one hard to justify given Pearson success.
