I think that he's massively underrated across the football world

The Daily Express is reporting that Barcelona do not agree with you, quoting a 'Spanish football expert' who says that Barca think that Mahrez is not good enough and that he hasn't convinced their bosses that he is worth the trouble.

We all know that the player's performance is affected by his mood and have been anxious about how staying at the King Power might affect him. I now wonder how the news of this rejection by the team of his dreams will impact on his confidence.

He's an incredibly talented player and he's still on our books, as we've refused to back down on our valuation of him. I'm pleased with that.

So far, this season, he (to me at least) looks like he's playing much better than last season. Let's hope it continues like that.

He's marmite but he's our marmite.

I broadly agree with BN with the exception being that Mahrez is vastly underrated. I'm not saying he's not, I'm just saying I'm not sure. He's perhaps the most talented player I've seen playing for us but he nonetheless vexes me.

Top players are consistent, Mahrez clearly is nowhere near to being consistent.

He won't ever play for a Barca or the likes untill he is.

Being consistent is as big an attribute as being able to do some good dribbling every now and then.

A player who has been pretty woeful for a year doesn't tend to get a dream move.

Can imagine Riyad now, sat in the airport, wondering if pretending to be injured all the time is the way to go. Expect him to play between our two central defenders, play some awful backpasses for a few games then not turn up again. It's the way to get a big move.
You must be his agent Fitz, you kept that quiet.

Probably in Charles de Gaulle trying to put his ego back together, or standing over the remains of his agent with a smoking gun in his hand.

Algerian Coach just found out about his diet of chicken nuggets and wedges and dropped him!

Hopefully all of this will result in a bit of a wake up call for him and he will up his game even more than he has in the first three games this season.

Can't imagine him being a wanker like Drinkwater and feigning it.

He should be playing out of his skin to get himself noticed again.

:043:Imagine skipping international duty in such an important game to go and sit in an airport

He needs to decide what he wants, and how to go about it.
Last season's plan A was piss poor.
Hopefully with this season's plan B, he'll be singing all the right notes to get his dream move in either January or next summer
This should be good news for Leicester City :)

Can see him really struggling with this.

Or maybe he will just shoot his agent, or at the very least fire him.

His agent has done him no favours at all, and made him look a bit of a prat.
