Not really, Steveo.

Johnson appears a scapegoat thanks to a totally incompetent coaching staff who were appointed by the RFU. Rob Andrew is so far been Houdini escaping all the problems despite being at the root of it. A major restructure required at the RFU with possibly clubs having more of an input (might sound a bad thing but the Rugby Union calendar suggests that every top level club requires communication with the national team).

The leaked players report suggests Rugby Union is rotten in the same way Football is with the only difference possibly being a sense of shame amongst the younger bunch in the England squad.

Not really Hazzo. MJ had three and a half years in the job to make a difference and singularly failed to make an impact. I agree that the ERFU is a complete and utter shambles and indeed Rob Andrew is part of the problem and not part of the solution.

If MJ cannot recognise that shambles in the 3 1/2 years he has failed. If he can recognise the shambles and it and tried and failed to influence the ERFU to bring about change, he failed.

For someone who had/has more goodwill that anyone else in the ERFU he did not use that goodwill positively.
