My mate worked for PNE and basically said he has the ability, just was particularly low on confidence recently. Its a gamble but if we can bring out the best in him it could be a good piece of business

He played in a poor side last season, and Boro failed to sign him as they were relegated.

He was once a very good player, and I still think he's a 'good' player. Sven will bring out his best qualities.

I hope you're right... Didn't Boro have him for a Championship season or is that just me being thick?

Ever since the season Preston last made the playoffs about 07/08 I think, he's been dreadful. That's enough to get a bit of negativity from me.

I wouldn't mind St. Ledger here, he must be doing something right if he's performing well for Ireland. I'd prefer Mills, hopefully we can get both! One player I really don't want is Ched fecking Evans.

Ah yes, I've been reading through that thread.. I'll try my best to keep myself in line in future :icon_wink

But anyway, Matt Mills I'd love to see him here, although I can't see him going anywhere other than the Premiership. Especially since Stoke & Wolves are in for him.
