I asked that same question on Tuesday night at the game. I thought there was meant to be a museum when we moved to the new stadium.

There was, but the idea was dropped as more "commercial aspects" were given priority. The planned location was logical, directly above the club shop, so visitors could go to the museum and then visit the club shop on the way out (which would have held more items related to the clubs history).

Instead the 1884 bar was built.

The items held by the club, many donated by fans were originally very poorly held, but the stirrung efforts initially of Christine Smeaton (sadly no longer with us) pulling all the items together in safe storage areas (except those items being displayed in more corporate areas) and then John Hutchinson who has systematically catalogued everything and hence the workshop can now take place.

Will there ever be a museum? - Milan said if we were in the Premiership for a few seasons (so have funds to do something) and he still owned the club, then it was something he would like to see happen
