Was only an email I got saying he heard a rumour. Nothing concerete. I'm not saying its 100% true, I just thought i'd share this.

Since his arrival the goalkeeping standard has dropped to a ridiculous level. Coincidence? Maybe, but he certainly has done nothing to improve the situation. Maybe the goalkeeping situation would be even worse without him, but I seriously doubt it.

He stands on the touch line and hurls abuse at the players, I have witnessed players shrugging their shoulders at him while he's barking stuff at them. He appears to be totally out of control on the touchline. Maybe his actions were working, I don't know, but I seriously doubt that too.

I think Henderson has improved as a keeper in the last year.

Based on the Brum game, he is certainly more vocal than he used to be (perhaps with less experienced defenders in front of him)

And his kicking, which used to struggle to reach the half way line when he joined has improved no end.

Harder to judge with Logan, as he spent so many months at Stockport, so less chance for Stowell to have a positive (or negative) impact

He did not effect fulops performance, but maybe thats because he is the only decent keeper we have had in years, I dont see how MS can be blamed when we seem to continuously buy absolute shit.

The best goalkeeping coach in the world could not turn Casino Jimmy, Fatty Logan and Henderson into decent keepers. Maybe we should have a change of policy and try to sign goalkeepers that are not total shit.

Correct - once beyond the Academy stage, the GK coach is only going to have a marginal effect if any. I don't know whether such coaches use an analyst approach or what but I doubt whether his staying or going will make a lot of difference. If we had a top class keeper (which we haven't) the other keepers might improve by seeing that example.

A spell of about 3 games at the end of the season doesn't convince me he's a decent keeper.

If anything, Henderson, who I always considered to be a terrible keeper, improved notably towards the end of last season. Presumably this was just coincidence? Must have been...

And a club from a higher league wants him? He must be shit then!

b) His conduct has been idiotic when in the role of assistant manager.

If he sat impassively during games people would say he's a terrible motivator. But if he jumps around in an animated fashion, like MON, then he's an idiot. Why is that?

And besides, he's not employed as assistant manager, he's a goalkeeping coach. His performance in that role is all that matters.

True, but then so does everyone else associated with LCFC for the last four or five years.

If this rumour is true, then he's bound to leave as Wolves is his club and it's a considerable step up for him at this point.
