Highlight of the second half, apart from Gradel scoring, was me rising like a salmon and catching the ball in the crowd and then casually throwing the ball back to the keeper. I havent washed my hands since.

Re: Leicester 1 Swindon 1

Don't forget as well, they had a free kick in a very similar position to ours after we scored, and a corner, so they had a chance to still turn it around.

Are we talking about the Swindon game here - or the more recent MKD game?

What a finish!!
I was in the executive area which felt a bit like a conference venue with the dining area like something you would find at the NEC, but got a drink at halftime :) and sat a few rows behind the home dugout, glad I did not pay the £34.50 ticket price!!
Bit my tongue for most of the game, but could not help myself when the free kick went in!! lol

Heard that there was some trouble at the Witherspoons pub in the town centre???

Re: Leicester 1 Swindon 1

Can a mod please move these posts to the right thread, it's got a bit confusing.

Re: Leicester 1 Swindon 1

if the ref had better time keeping we wouldve lost :icon_wink:) and we deserved to :)

Had they have not wasted so much time, then I'm sure there would not have been so much time added on ... architects of their own destruction methinks.

Looking at the goal on World, I thought it was a fortunate goal, it looks to have simply rebounded off him rather than been a deliberate shot.

Especially the number 4, went down two or three times when there was nothing wrong with him.

It was the passes that went unchecked leading upto his run that annoyed me.

considering the amount of Leicester fans allegedly amongst the home fans there seemed to be little trouble. Though i did see a few punches thrown and a couple of fans taken out over to the right hand side.

I brought a ticket in a corner section but it turned out to be pretty much behind the goal opposite the away end.

The locals were not happy and got a bit vocal, aimed at a group of leicester fans behind me who were escorted out by stewards and police after the equaliser. I went up but didn't have much said other than a few directed comments from the row behind.

I'd say around 10% of seats around me were filled with leicester but most sat on their hands for both goals.

Agreed. They had too much time and space far too often. It was never a case of if MK score, more a case of when.

It was an amazing move that led to that goal. Two of their players threw a dummy, leaving the third to place it right into the danger area. I remarked at the time that it was like a training ground free-kick routine that had been put into open play. It deserved a goal on its own, even if they did only get it because of a fortuitous rebound.

I don't know many of them by sight but he stood out for their two goals as looking a bit of a donkey

i wouldnt just point him out we were pretty poor across the whole park, our defence was ran ragged at times , we looked like a midtable team at best, i was impressed with them
