any recommendations on phones guys?

i dunno if it'll cost the earth, but i'd like video & mp3 that you can transfer from a computer fairly easily, plus the internet, possibly MSN messenger and usual stuff like a video camera

I had one of those. Battery only lasted a couple of hours, so I had to keep it switched off & carry a pager as well so the office could page me to switch it on if they wanted to talk to me:icon_lol:

i looked at both the samsung e900 and the d900,

i went for the e900.... its more a mans phone, the d900 is for girly hands.

I have to say you won't get a phone will all those features on plus loads more for cheaper than the SPV C600. I wouldn't touch anything else. It also comes with 500mb carb to store MP3's on, and it has Windows operating system on it. The connectivity to the computer is second to none, with it automatically updating your callender, contacts and various other items.

Durham, I can't understand why you like Samsung so much, they are just very average phones IMO. Personally I think Sony's are the best main stream brand about, apart from the ovious problem that the joystick breaks every 3 months.

Ive never owned a Samsung so I wouldnt say I like them that much. I have a Nokia N80 currently which is good but the D900 has all the same features bar wifi but is half the weight and a third the thickness.
