Got to win this one now. Plenty of teams in top 8 drawing and losing games. We need 6 points out of the next 9 at least starting with 3 at Newcastle.
We were on 39 points after 19 games in the title season. Max we can get to is 38 if we win the next three.....

No mention of Andy Carroll‘s last goal, almost 2 years now and 10 years since he scored for Newcastle.
Brown Nose you need to put some money down!

I've got to have some sense when it comes to frittering away my cash. Betting on Carroll scoring is utterly impossible so I simply refuse to do it.

Easy win for us this one. Going for a three nil win

We’ve been spoilt by some hilarious Newcastle performances against us in recent years. Last year’s was abysmal and I recall the one in 2015 that gifted us an easy win in the great escape. But I fear Bruce has them a bit more organised this year, and we don’t seem to like playing against organised teams.

It's true, Newcastle have been one of the more inept sides I've seen us play over recent years. Not just dire but resided to it; given up and uncaring.

That said, I take nothing for granted. Our Jeckyll & Hyde ability to conjure up a completely shit performance out of nowhere never gives me reason for optimism.

They’ve consistently been the worst side I’ve seen us play for multiple seasons.

Scrappy, frustrating defeat it is then.

No-one predicting another tedious\frustating draw?

Could do with not only winning but getting a hat full. We're slipping behind in GD.

That said, I'm not taking it for granted. I'll give a sigh of relief with a scrappy 1-0 thanks to an OG.

If that’s a back three. Who’s playing on the right of the midfield/attack? A swashbuckling Ian Marshall or the rapid Garry Parker?
