What's happened to Ndukwu?
Someone made fun of his trainers as he last left the ground and he had to retire due to all of the abuse. Not good enough?

What, in those trainers? He got a bad injury
Trainers may be the best bet on Sunday for your lads. The pitch at Rodney Parade is cratered. Likely they'll leave the heating off so it'll be rock hard too. What, in those trainers?
I think we can be excused for making a lot of changes here, it's a good chance to give the likes of Soyuncu, Ward, Barnes, Okazaki, Silva, Iheanacho, even Ghezzal some playing time and they should surely be good enough to beat Newport?
They're a mid-table division 4 team - we should safely be able to blood a couple of youngsters and give game time to those who need it, leaving the entire first eleven fresh as daisies. If we can't, as a club we don't deserve to be in the next round...
Got to be 11 changes for this one.
Would possibly put Morgan or Evans in at the back for some experience but the rest should be fringe players.
Pretty much any 11 of our pros together should be able to beat these.
Talk of starting Vardy away at Newport County is just ludicrous!
Most members will remember us losing to Wycombe under Peter Taylor. The great Weller-Birchenall-Worthington side came close to losing to Leatherhead in the early 1970s.

I wouldn't worry. You'll probably forget who you're there to support anyway.Harlow.
See RHYDAL's post, above. It's not like we're playing Cardiff or Swansea where we could at least rely on the support of their rivals. The whole of the ****ing Principality will be against us...
...and I'm sitting in the home end.
I think this feeds into why we should have more youngsters in the team - I want young hungry players who want to grab their chance (just like Choudhury did in the League Cup game), rather than members of the first eleven who may justifiably feel the tie is beneath them and see more risk from a 50/50 challenge. I don’t recall our team playing Wycombe being weakened, and you say this Liverpool team knocked out by Worcester weren’t- maybe that was the errorRarely have such distinguished posters written such utter bilge.

What do our triumvirate pf wise posters think the atmosphere is like in Newport. I know because I remember Worcester City due to play Liverpool in the 3rd round in February 1959. The whole town buzzed. The Newport players know their family and friends will be watch on TV. . Liverpool did not put out a weakened side ; They included club legends like Tommy Younger, Ronnie Moran and a sublime England winger Alan A'Court. Worcester City 2 Liverpool 1
Even younger posters wull remember Leiceser 0 Shrewsbury 1. Anthony Knockaert appeared to think he was Stan Matthews but her wasn'y Shrewsbury defenders had not been told whayt a great player hr was and rather rudely kept takmg the ball off him.
The Newport manager will be sneering at Premier League prima donnas and telling them to get in our facesI want warriors. Gray is a gifted young player but not one for a battle. Iborra is a "nice" player and would be meat and drink to NewportI want Simpson at right back with Ricardo on the wing. I want Albrighton not Ghezal or Gray and above all Vardy and not Iheanacho.

Claude Puel confirmed that Wes Morgan has been training and is available to face Newport. Meanwhile, Puel refused to comment on the fitness of Jamie Vardy, but says “we will see”. The Foxes boss says he’ll use the whole squad to keep the freshness and level of quality balanced.
Newport is a shithole. I hope they lose 0-72.See RHYDAL's post, above. It's not like we're playing Cardiff or Swansea where we could at least rely on the support of their rivals. The whole of the ****ing Principality will be against us...
