This is the moment that Vichai shows us all what he wants for the future of the club. It will be the defining decision of his ownership.

All previous appointments were of their time or circumstances. Some were right, some were wrong.

This is where our owner says that I either want to compete at the top end of the Premier League or I don't. Are we building something or not?

We should be aiming as high as possible with the next appointment. Someone with genuine talent and ambition. Someone that can attract quality players and make those that are here want to stay and play for him. Not a has-been or never was.

'Realistically' means anyone. The owners have enough money to make our next manager one of the highest paid in the league.

Someone who is one the best are often looking for a new challenge. It is relatively easy if you are a world class manager to take the job at Real Madrid or Bayern Munich or Barceleona, but would it be satisfying? Would it test your skills?

I think Top and Vichai should ask the best to come. No disrespect if they say no. It is just showing ambition on our part.

If they ask Big Sam, they are publicly saying they just want to get 40 points each season.
