I've met Volz on a couple of occasions - he's quite a character. When he first came over to Arsenal he was concentrating on studying English and Maths and said he would be reading teaching manuals and the rest when on long trips. He said, in pretty good English, but in a clipped German accent " the other players all take the piss out of me - all they read is Nuts magazine. "

It may just be me but whenever I've seen Bale play I've thought he was slightly overrated, though he is another young 'un that obviously has talent, but like Mattock hasn't realised it just yet.
