I would doubt its enforceable anyway. It really depends in what context the swearing is,there's a difference between calling DJ Campbell a no good lazy bastard and shouting vile abuse at the Away fans etc.Either way swearing directly infront of children, especially the younger ones, is out of order IMO

What makes me laugh is it is going to be impossible to regulate. There is zero chance of any mother/father being thrown out of the ground when they are with their kids. The worst that can happen is some sweaty jumped up twat in a yellow coat (also known as a steward) comming up to the offending person and telling them to keep their language down.

If they start dragging people out then surely this would leave a bigger impression on a child than the odd eff word.

if youre talking kids to a football match then you know theres going to be language even in the family stand so youre left with the choice of taking them and risk their ears hearing the odd swear word or leaving them at home

My point was that people really shouldn't swear in front of young children, its not a particulary nice thing to do.

I'll stop swaring if the players stop swearing.

rooney is one of the worst for that every close up he is effing this and effing that whilst spraying spit - good role model i guess - and i know it cant be helped at times but not on every virtual close up

no i agree but its in a sports stadia and tempers get flared etc even the most mild mannered people start swearing watching their teams

Maybe people should be a little more considerate or maybe I live in a Dreamworld

Fair enough for the rest of the stadium. Swearing is part and parcel of watching a football game IMO, and always should be

But the Family Stand is (supposedly) an area away from all that, and a general move away from swearing etc. in there is to be welcomed IMO

I agree, theres plenty of places to go if you want to swear etc,an effort should at least be made in the Family Stand to make it no swearing. If people ignore it then at least the Club has been seen making an effort

Then they should move it from next to the away fans then. Will they ban the away fans from abuse next? What about songs with a swear word in sung around the ground? Madness. It will never work.

There will be if homer goes in there and someone pushes in the queue for Pies

Maybe they think that having the Family Stand next to the Away Fans will create a less violent atmosphere:102:But then again I don't see the attraction of shouting vitriol or thumping someone just because they support a different football club than me

That arguement falls down when you see all the BM's led by fatboy Jobber ranting at the away fans over the other side. :102:
