Well, hope to see you all there then.

Oh I'll be there ok. I hope you lot aren't relying on the other half of the lower tier to be allocated as its just been opened up for Forest fans.

Lets hope you fill it then. Also if you could refrain from throwing coins like the last time you were that close it would be lovely.

You do of course realise that all the hordes of foxes that claim to have tickets in the home ends will have to remain anonymous because you know how lenient the stewards and goons are at the City Ground.

I'll give you a wave, my seat is front row up above your lot. Can't miss me, I'll have red Forest shirt on....

That's not ironic though, that's just unfortunate. Much like if it pissed rain on your wedding day.

what if i had moved the wedding day because heavy rain was forecast and then it pissed it down on the new date, how ironic

By Jehovah, I think you're starting to grasp it

Got a ticket for this but not looking forward to it. Forest will sneek in the play offs and we will have to watch them celebrate, going to be painful.

Same as Friday night I'll not be watching anyone 'celebrate', heading straight down the exit stairs as soon as the final whistle sounds in any case.

Yeah, I won't be hanging around either, at least an early kick off means more post match drinking time.

Might not be so easy to do for those of us with tickets from alternative sources

Are we going to be able to drink in Nottingham, remember last season we couldn't drink in Nottingham or am I just making that up?

You're making that up. You definitely could drink in Nottingham; everyone could. I distinctly recall buying a Cherry 7Up at the Tesco Express near the station and experienced no difficulty at all consuming it.

Haha! Can never remember the good pubs in Nottingham.

That's because there isn't many.

Heading in to town as you know is in the opposite direction and the majority of the bars towards the ground will be home fans only. I'd probably suggest heading down to the Waterfront area (which is only 5 mins out of the way) where there is about 5 bars. You should be far enough from the ground to have no worries of getting in to a bar which will be mainly forest fans. If the weather is nice, it'll be full of scantily clad females :icon_wink

If you are arriving very early, then i'd head into town and go somewhere like The Bell on Market Square or Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem on Maid Marian Way.

The train station is currently having major refurbishment work as well as some structural changes to accommodate the extension to the tram lines, so where you would normally exit the station is no longer the case. I believe the entrance has been temporarily located to Station Street, opposite the Capital One building. I'm not sure if the entrance on Queens Rd is accessible at the minute.
