Odd Request

There is a song I can't get out of my head and would love to track down again. I used to own a copy and have been tearing my hair out as I just cannot find it. This annoys me for two reasons:

1) I was/am a collector of Darren Hayman's stuff - so Hefner, then the French - and have now got a bit lost with it all, but was complete on Hefner and appear to have lost this / maybe I never owned it.

2) I really want to hear the track and I cant find it anywhere!

So - the track is 'Goethe's Letter to Vic Chestnutt' - I love the Hefner version, but failing that, the New Bad Things version would do me.

Anyone got a copy of whatever release this was on - Hefner Brain/Heart or whatever it was?

Anyone even know what I'm bleating on about?

Its almost as annoying as people bleating on about 'that amazing Adell' song. Its a Bob Dylan song.

I'm going to sort some broadband at home, especially for this reason.

ONE YEAR I've lived without broadband at home. ONE YEAR of nagging from the missus, and it was this song rather than her bleating on about working from home.... or the desire for p0rnzz which has made me crack.

I've definitely got Breaking God's Heart, but this track doesn't appear on it - or at least not on my version.

For what its worth, I think this album is their best work and everyone should check it out.
