You type "Leicester" into Google for Leicester City news? Maybe a try a news aggregator like NewsNow instead? Tip - sign up for an account and filter out the Mercury.

Thanks.

I type in Leicester, Leicester city, lcfc etc.
We've been very very quiet either way

Why would a piece of good news mean the club brings us **** all news or updates since last season?
Yeah. The club photographer who normally takes the photos of preseason training and the website content editor responsible for adding them to the website wouldn't be involved in dealings of a marquee signing or any other major club goings on. Why haven't we seen this sort of content?

Gobsmacked is generally associated with good news, bigger than normal and perhaps extraordinary.

so my guess is a marquee signing, couldn't for the life of me guess who though?
The only signing who realistically would come but still be gobsmacking would be Coutinho

I hear Messi is pissed off.

Just skipped through players and staff twitter accounts. The only post I can see since they returned to training just over a week ago was from Ricardo marking five months since his op.

Nothing from anyone else. Not a word. I don't do other social media so no idea if there is anything elsewhere.

That has to be a club policy as most of them post any old shite. There must be a media shutdown for some reason.

Yes. It goes without saying but 'something is going on'.

That said, I used to get told absolutely all sorts and the club's control of its information was as leaky as a sieve. Now its much harder; they really have tightened up.

A colleague of mine who deals with a lot of football clubs and players has recently remarked on how much tighter control they are keeping on their data etc of late.

The lack of teams now being accurately leaked is positive. The lack of concrete leaks on transfers is positive. The social media 'shutdown' could even be positive I suppose.

The lack of any 'official' pictures from pre-season training or whatever is a bit odd though and the fact that BR loves an interview and a soundbite makes this feel even more 'odd'.

But I am prepared to be gobsmacked. I just keep fearing that maybe BR is going and NP is coming back for the 44th time.

Bring on the gobsmacking. We can play gobsmack bingo....

Coronavirus outbreak in the squad. Players isolating. Media blackout. Maybe.

Maybe. Not sure it qualifies as a 'gobsmacked' moment.

Maybe Vardy has finally finished thinking about it and decided (been told by the other half) that he will indeed join Arsenal.

It has been unusually quiet this pre season as others have stated, there were rumours last night that long serving physio Dave Rennie has been sacked.

Although if my memory serves me correctly, in previous pre seasons when there has been a bit of summer turmoil we seem to do ok.

Instagram:
- Vardy's last photo from August 17th with "back to work" and his golden boot award
- Soyuncu last on 04/08 of him diving
- Madders 16/08 with Dele Alli
- Ndidi 18/08 on a private plane
- Chilwell 09/08 of him and a mate
- Ayoze 14/08 of a swimming pool with a back to work message
- Tielemans June about BLM
- Kasper 05/08 about Casillas retirement
- Barnes 25/07 about his young player award

on the whole relatively quiet
