Excellent final, Whitlock deserved a closer match but Taylor kept pulling off brilliant checkouts - I think about four 160+s.

These guys must know exactly how golfers and tennis players feel as Woods and Federer notch up the slams, no matter how well they play Taylor always does better.

Any one with any quality has moved across to the PDC. Darryl Fitton (sp) won't be long either. Two of the semi-finalists last week moved over in the last year, and not too long since Barney moved.

Only 5 seeds have made it through to the second round in the BDO.

Hearn offered about a £1m to the BDO to merge with the PDC but they turned it down. They say they put money into the grass roots game and nurture young players but as with every sport kids want to see the best players and they're all inthe PDC.

Watched Chisnall come back against miserable, horrible Hankey last night.
