Rod Little in the Sunday Times

Over at Leicester City, Sven-Goran Eriksson has bought nearly an entire new first team squad plus a couple of players left over to help him stack the dishwasher. You would expect (on paper at least) the Foxes to stroll away with the division, maybe after a slow start occasioned by the fact that none of the players has ever met one another before. One can but hope they will fail. There is something singularly irritating and ineffectual about Sven.

This is good news. I always enjoy seeing The Guardian getting things wrong - a regular pleasure.

He does say that we have the best players, which is a compliment. Says nothing about how well we will actually do.

Can't recall Don Goodman ever having a good word to say about us, so he can personally feck off.

Yes, this is more like Konshesky's level. Last year, he couldn't believe his luck - being at Livepool was like a fairy-tale to him. Funny to think that Roy Hodgson was manager last year.
