So, you reckon you know the division we are in eh?
Well, in the spirit of 'putting your money where your mouth is' (without the money of course) I would like to put down a challenge to anyone who thinks they are up to it.
The challenge is to predict who you think will finish where, 3 categories are important:
1) automatic promotion (the top 2)
2) the play off contenders (3rd through to 6th)
3) relegation (the bottom 3)
Here is how it will work. You need to predict which teams will finish where in the categories above. Once received, and the day before the season starts the thread will be locked, at the end of the season we will see who is smart and who is a tart.
The scoring is easy, thus:
A) if the team you predict finishes exactly where you predict you will receive 10 points.
B) if the team finishes in the same area of the table you predict (automatic promotion, play offs or relegated) then you will receive 5 points.
C) for each place you predict incorrectly (outside of the area that is) you will be deducted 1 point for each place.
the winner is the one with the most points.
As an example; if you predict lcfc to come 1st and they actually finish 6th you will receive -4 points, if you predict forest to finish 4th and they finish 12th you will receive -6 points and so forth.
So, all I need from you is the teams in the positions you predict they will finish, thus;
1st
2nd
3rd
4th
5th
6th
22nd
23rd
24th
Please just post them rather than pm them.
