I feel sorry for Luton. We know Sheffield United and Burnley are pure relegation fodder. Luton score a lot of goals but they keep ballsing it up for themselves. They've scored more than Manchester United, for example.

I think last night's result is the death knell of their season. They keep having these games where they're leading for large spells but then end up with nothing.

****ing hell, 3-0 up at half time and lost? Hopeless.

First Villa, then Spurs doing their very best to allow a totally shit Man U side to get into europe.

Spurs looking like they are entering their traditional end of season nosedive. I took a totally childish pleasure in seeing Timmy Chestnuts skin whinger Madison and leave him on his backside en route to laying on the second goal

Showed every sign of having that " we only need to turn up to beat these " attitude.

Doesn't matter who the manager is, or what system they play, or with which players, that shit is ingrained in the DNA at the club.

It's unprofessional in any scenario but when it comes from a club that's won **** all since god was an apprentice it's ****ing baffling.

Great though innit

Nottingham Forest have received a four-point deduction for breaching the Premier League’s profitability and sustainability rules, dropping them into the relegation zone, one point from safety.

An announcement from the Premier League is expected on Monday and Forest are likely to appeal.

Forest admitted the breach but their defence was based around extenuating circumstances in relation to the sale of Brennan Johnson. The club received a £30m offer from Brentford early last summer but the forward was unwilling to move and Forest felt they could get more money for their star asset if they waited beyond the 30 June PSR deadline. Johnson was sold for £47.5m to Tottenham in September but an independent panel did not accept this defence.

With all money earned from selling Johnson, an academy product, going down as a profit, the club argued their approach was designed to make them more sustainable.

Premier League clubs are allowed to lose £105m over a three-year period but Forest’s permitted losses were limited to £61m because they spent two years of that period in the Championship. This was another part of their defence, with the club claiming they were hamstrung after being promoted because investment in the squad is vital to challenge at a higher level against more established teams.

Since promotion Forest have signed 42 players at a cost of about £250m, helping them retain their Premier League status last season.

Delighted because of who it is, obviously, but this whole thing is becoming a complete shambles

10 points for Everton, then it’s 6 points for Everton, now it’s 4 points for the Snotters

0 points for Man Shitty

They’ll appeal it and it’ll get reduced.

The whole thing is a load of ****ing bollocks.

How is it fair that Luton benefit as opposed to the teams Forest cheated against?

Fair Play doesn't seem the right term for it when only the top teams are allowed to cheat. It'll all be scrapped soon enough.

Reads terribly doesn't it? Clearly a system designed to favour the closed shop over the newly promoted. I don't like having to set aside the fact that it's Forest but I have to. Manifestly a grossly unfair & obviously rigged system.

They'll probably give the 4 points to Man City for xmas.

Jesus the game is utterly ****ed. So ****ed that it's made me do a complete 180 & actually want the super league to happen (as long as they have to actually leave of course) Seeing the all powerful PL reduced to **** all would give me such pleasure.
Especially since i was annoyingly & tediously vocal in opposing it's foundation in the first place.

**** football. We won it anyway so it no longer matters.

If they had lost the points last season, the season of the crime, they would have been relegated on goal difference?

Your problem with that analogy is that we broke the rules that season too. We've just not released the accounts to show it yet.

I'd also argue that our offences are worse than anything Forest or Everton have been punished for.

We overspent like they did. However, we also overspent despite manufacturing dodgy sponsorship deals to artifically inflate our income and underpay staff who were being paid by third parties. Our crimes are more like, though obviously to a lesser extent, what Man City did.
