Reberto's New Job...

Reberto Mancini is widly expcted to return to English football acording to todays papers. Unfortunatly He's going to Spurs, leaving Lazio.

But what i really want to know is what everyone though of him as a player. Personally I think he represents the worst time in Leicesters history. Big wages - Littel Return, Relegation!

He didn't even score us a goal! Personlay I was quite pleased when he left.

He did try with us and it was entertaining for a couple of weeks. But I do agree that giving a 36 year old the wages we did was criminal.

He played a few games for gods sake so we wouldn't of paid him that many weeks of wages!

From what I saw of him he looked class and would of been a great addition to the team but I don't blame him for accepting the Fiorentina job. Although I do think it was stupid to even offer him the wages PT did thats not Mancini's fault. He came here, was very proffesional and did at good job and thats what we should remember him by.

As a matter of interest, what was Mancini on wage wise?

Anyhow, I thought his first few games, he looked off the pace, and didn't really do much.....Which was understandable given the fact he's never played in the Premiership, and hadn't played competitive football for over a year!

I remember his last game for us against Chelsea (when we won 2-1) he was MOM. He put in a real quality performance for us, and overshadowed Zola that day.

Just another thing about Mancini, I remember MON being on the BBC once covering a game between Lazio and Inter in the UEFA cup final. I remember MON saying that Mancini was a waste of space and would never ever consider buying him........It was rather ironic in my eyes when Taylor got him then!

The bloke was still awsome city it was just that he was on adifferent wave length to the other players, can you imagine playing next ade if you Manchini?
