R.I.P. Nev --
:icon_cry:
I seem to remember he was one of the unlucky ones that City had to sack/make redundant when they went into Administration and he was coaching at Rushden & Diamonds when they went out of the league so they let him go.He had a UEFA 'A' Licence Coach, F.A. Coach Educator & Fitness Professional. He was trying to run his own acedemy and his website below states "His approach to coaching is one based on mutual respect for the individual and an understanding that "one style does not fit all". Individuals learn by making mistakes and used positively this enables progression and improvement."

He had an organic heart problem that no one knew about until that first heart attack. It was devastating, because it happened when he'd just been taken on by Wolves, which was a massive transfer at the time. Everyone in the family was so excited, and impressed.

Then his career was over, and then he transformed himself, and made a new career as a coach.

I last saw him a couple of years ago outside the ground, and he came over to me in his usual smiley way, and talked to me about other peoples' problems, as he always did. It was never about him.

Nev was the reason I'm here.
