The OS hasn't got the Scunthorpe game details on yet on my version?

Is this because of this regional variation again where here up north we don't get the updates until later :102:

No, thats why my opening post says ...

£3.97 buy one get on free?

Well I had pints of Worthington Creamflow and Stones for £2 each on Saturday nite when I went to the local Soul nite here in South Yorkshire. In fact in Rotherham where my daughter was working until Sunday most of the pints are under £2 and some you can get 2 pints for £2-50 or slightly less

But have you ever had a pint that cost £1.98.5. if that's how it would be written.

Surely £1.985?

When the halfpenny coin actually existed, it would have been written £1.98½. It was very rare though that things were priced with a halfpenny if they cost over £1; it wasn't all that rare to see such prices as 98½p though.

I know that this combination of decimal and fractional notion seems very wrong, but it should be remembered that the coin was a halfpenny not a pointfivepenny.
