If the ST was for an existing ST holder from previous seasons then I would not think so.
If the ST was new one for this season you could ask, but the club may impose a £30 cancellation fee for the original ST holder and then allow a replacement sale to the new person of the same seat.
We have asked the club about a circumstance where a renewing ST has since had a serious health issue & may not be able to go to games & the cancellation fee would apply in that circumstance.

Yes. I had one on my name for years but last season changed it to my daughter's name and a child ticket as I knew I wouldn't get down as much. This year I've changed it back to me. They tried to charge me the new ticket price rather than a renewal, but a polite "I don't think so chap" let to them realising their mistake.

Both tickets I bought this year were in my name as I couldn't work out how to tell them a 2nd name on their website. I went in to the ticket office and they agreed to change one to my husband's name, but they then managed to swop both to his! They tell me they have rectified that but I will wait to see what turns up.
