Can you only series link certain selected programs? I tried series linking something last night and it didn’t work. It said series link information not available. Anybody got any ideas? Cue the, “you cant link gay porn Leroy” jokes.

I often find you cant link if you try something thats the first episode of a series. Also pretty impossible if its a one off show Try again in a few days

It is the first episode of grand designs on Wednesday that I tried. I will just set that one to record and then series link after that. Thanks though duzza..

I used series link for the first time just before new year. It successfully recorded the first 8 episodes about Winston Churchills bodyguard.....Walter Thompson. When i got round to watching it i was rather dismayed to find that episode 8 was not the last in the series. Episode 8 was upto about 1943 so obviously there was more of this story. After contacting Mr Google i find that there were 13 episodes to the series, but the reason the rest didn't record i believe was not the fault of the Sky+ box. For some stupid reason the BBC stopped with episode 8 on New Years day and have shown the remaining episodes sporadically since, thus resulting in me missing being able to record the whole series
