Or buy some time until the popularity of T20 has waned as it surely will. This format is a very poor representation of cricket and one of the big mistakes has been to throw out the Pro 40 competition which provided excellent entertainment just to pander to something which will be very short term

I'm fine about cashing in on the popularity of T20 but not to the point of spoiling the overall fixture list.
