What a bizarre game.

Tottenham give away a penalty and Bale gets sent off as a result - 1-0 Stoke.

Tottenham score, Stoke score - 2-1.

Sorensen comes off with a bloody face after his own player knees him in the head. Corluka has a nasty injury to his ribs when his own keeper knees him in the chest. A minute late, Corluka gets knocked out cold when his own keeper knees him in the head, he gets taken away to hospital.

Stoke get another penalty, it hits both posts and comes out for Delap to blast against the crossbar. Dawson then gets sent off for Spurs, and then Fuller blasts against the upright. The game lasted for about 102 minutes.

they're not in dire straights yet.. they are only 5 points below the safety line with plenty of time to go, fortunately for them there are plenty of teams in there that are equally as shit as they are. It would be great to see them get relegated, I've not particularly got anything against them, it's just always nice to see a big team crash down to earth. I think they'll be safe come the end of the season though, they'll sack Ramos, bring in Curbishley and everything will be rosey again...

looking at the highlights it really couldn't have been much worse for spurs could it. Defeat against one of the worst sides in the league, bad injury to a first choice defender. a few bookings picked up. Two straight reds meaning two more key defenders will serve 3 match bans... :icon_lol:

Watched Spurs - Roma 5-0 in their last preseason game before the league started a couple of months ago. Never thought they'd do this bad obviously, they looked brilliant in that game. Another evidence preseason results mean nothing at all.
