FFS. I'd have much preferred it if they'd come out and said "Sven is going to be given time to build a team over a couple of years, because our strategy of chucking money and a manager, giving them a season to succeed and effectively forcing them to panic buy, is wrong."

It's going to be O'Neill isn't it? They'd have approached him at the very least.

Had to happen unfortunately. I'm just pleased they've taken decisive action rather than mess about for a few months

Shame to lose a manager and makes this season very difficult but no point in persisting with something that wasn't working.

It will be interesting to see how quickly the fans turn on MON if he comes back, I'd say it will take them a lot longer than any other manager, so probably until after the Leeds match.
