I presume this was just after the World Cup, and I think Sven wanted to take a break. He told me he was going between his house in Portugal and his home in Sweden and wasn't really looking for a job.

So I don't think he chose between us and Palermo - but perhaps you just meant that it's a good thing that he was a bit selective and not just taking any job.
