Just had another look on the website and they now reckon they only have vacancies on Thursday nights. Monday and Wednesdays now say they are full so this would need to be done sharpish to guarantee a place on Thursday night.

I enquired about a 5-a-side team at Goals, got this response:

Thanks for your enquiry. If you have your team ready then we can get you a place in one of our leagues straight away. League games cost £35.95 per game. Each game is 40 minutes long and you play one game per week. Was there a specific night that would be best to play? We currently have vacancies in the Monday, Wednesday and Thursday League. Let me know which day you want to play and i can get you started as soon as possible. Regards Mel

You will be replacing a team that has already dropped out, most likely because they got fed up of losing. So your first game would more or less be a friendly before nest season starts in a couple of weeks.
