From my own point of view, opening a thread on a topic I am interested in to read the only new posts being about a spelling mistake in a previous post is a complete waste of my time and is rather frustrating.

It can go a little too far sometimes but surely it isn't that bad. Plus why should it bother you if some people have so little in their life they have to spend their time checking other posters spelling mistakes and then making a point of showing it to everyone else that's up to them!

Well, apparently there's epidemic levels of pedantry going on somewhere on the forum. It's wasting so much of Durham's time that he's been driven to start this poll so that... erm... well, I don't know why he's started this poll, but that doesn't matter, I'm just wondering where all this offensive pedantry is, because I haven't seen it.
I reckon it must be in the cricket forum because I never go in there.
