The original article did say 'is to join Mark Yates' team'. It's now changed, no errors associated with the England grammar; just a bad mistake.

I presume that they have now changed it and where it now says Steve Burr, in http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~2136509,00.html, it used to read Mark Yates.

I'm glad I read the article in full. I had realised that there was a typo but was presuming that he had become attracted to those of his own sex.
