The dead wood? Yes - Perez, Ghezzal, Hamza, Amartey all out for me (combined £25m?). With Wes retiring, Fuchs off to the US, Matty James off, the above 4 joining them would really de-bloat our squad nicely.

If they are willing to stay then Hamza and Amartey are worth their place in the squad. We will probably be looking at a new central defender anyway, and I can't see us improving on Amartey for a 5th choice.

Hamza gets in as we are short on Homegrown players for the Europa League, either he is in the squad or we are short a player. As he wouldn't be worth much we might as well keep him.

Sowah, KDH could be homegrown players and both of a high standard. Remains to be seen if Tavares will still be with us and if Leshabela will progress. If weve got Ndidi, Soumare and Praet in the squad i dont think we will be keeping Hamza in favour of giving KDH and Leshabela a chance
