So are we about to announce a new keeper signing? Thought Kasper deserved to keep his leaving thread just about him!

When the rumours of Kasper leaving first emerged, all the reports were that we wouldn't allow that to happen until we found a replacement.

But other than a couple of murmurings about Lafont, Dubravka and Leno (who has now gone to Fulham) there's been nothing much about who that replacement might be.

Either we've got something done quickly and quietly, or (and probably far more likely knowing us) we've absolutely ****ed it and are going to risk getting no replacement - which means we either won't get one or will panic sign someone right at the end of the window.

So many people are about to realise how good we had it. Genuinely concerned we could drop significantly down the league without Kasper or a suitable replacement.

Our defending at set pieces last season was abysmal and Kasper has to take his share of the blame, maybe BR thinks Kasper is part of the problem that couldn't be solved on the training ground as Kasper is a big character and no doubt set in his ways.
If Kasper had stayed and Brentford score from there 1st corner how many would be screaming for Kasper to be dropped or saying we should of got rid when we had the chance
I'm going to get abuse for saying this but Kasper leaving now why he's still a legend is a good thing.
I also think with hundreds of millions of pounds involved the club no what they are doing more than the supporters.
I still think we will have a good season with the current squad.

No new keeper means we are significantly weaker in that position, simple as that and anyone who thinks Ward is as good as Kasper is a ****ing lunatic who shouldn't be on the streets.

Not only is Ward nowhere near as good as Kasper, he also has about 1% of the professional drive and ambition. This is a bloke who is essentially happy to sit on the bench and twiddle his thumbs rather than be a number 1.

Sorry but that is not an acceptable replacement for the highest achieving goalkeeper in our history.

I would rather keep all our quality players but, if we have to let one go, Fofana is the best option: he's not the finished article and a wedge of cash allowing other options makes some sense.

Selling Maddison would be my idea of disaster: we should be building our team around him.
