As an aside, Lookman has been ****ing brilliant in Serie A. Top scorer at Atalanta (11 goals + 3 assists in 18 games) Makes me wonder if the league just suits him or if we wasted a chance. No way to know of course, but I was a bit pissed off reading it.

Lookman put in some incredibly shit performances for us last season and while he improved and scored some goals I thought he still went missing often.

He still would have improved us this season, not sure why we didn’t persevere with him because he’s better than nothing.

4. No one seemed to want Tielemans last year. He's pretty decent.
5. Players who have been fantastic elsewhere, such as Soumare, prove that this is no arbiter of quality whatsoever.
