I wouldn’t blame him for wanting the move, Brighton is a decent option at the moment. If it was a Fulham or Palace then he’d probably be making a mistake.

If it was a two horse race for promotion, I wouldn’t be so concerned, but Southampton don’t look like slowing down. We’ve let a very commanding position slip over the past month.

Unless we really are financially fckd. Letting KDH go would be extremely short sited.

Promotion is never guaranteed but I would blame the senior club management if we fck it up.

He was dreadful in the PL last season and I wouldn't want to rely on him again there.

To be fair, he's been much better this season than I expected and his goal contribution needs to be replaced.

I think people are delusional. We have to sell and trade a huge amount over the next few months to rebuild a squad capable of doing okay in the PL. That means everyone should be for sale.

EM has made it very clear that we have to sell to buy and we clearly cannot sell the dross. So what does that leave?

I keep saying that FFP is going to kill us so we may well need to sell given the punishment we may face.

I want Fatawu and Doyle to be made permanent signings. I then want us to add more. To do that, we have to sell some players that have a value.

Selling Dewsbury-Hall makes good sense.

What's his contract situation? If he's up in 6 months it's worth considering but otherwise I think it'd be mad to let him go at £30m now and risk derailing such an important season. Fair enough he's already flopped in the Prem once but it was in a team under Brendan where basically everyone flopped. Probably our most important player, and we should at least wait till the season is over.....
