The poor state of Filbert St

We've missed Filbert Street's birthday. The first match played there was on 7th November 1891

Obviously with high boards around the undeveloped bits, nobody can see the state of the ground inside. Does all this land now belong to De Montfort University now, apart from the car park?

I would hazard a guess it belongs to the developers, who would be responsible for its maintenance and upkeep...so why Stringer is asking the fans to tidy this up I dont know

"Replaced by a hateful student accommodation block." What does that even mean? Can a block really be hateful, or is he somehow proposing that students are in some way responsible for the destruction of Filbert Street?

Visited it today and took some photos of the area, this is one of the panoramas, I think the student block in the background provides a nice juxtaposition
