They're playing the proper team including Kasper against Wales tomorrow now.
But this sort of thing where lower league players turn out for the National team has happened before and it was Wales themselves who were involved back in 1930.

Boreham Wood were knocked out by Dunfermline on penalties in the last round. I was surprised to find that some Scottish clubs have to start in a Preliminary Round whilst the 'foreign' clubs only join the competition in the second round.

Doesn’t seem very likely other leagues would be interested if their clubs had to enter before the Highland and Lowland League clubs.

Still seems to be a totally devalued competition in this world of totally devalued competitions. Imagine if both finalists, or all four semi-finalists, were 'foreign'.
