I think there's a whole section of "Worst LCFC Players who previously played for clubs who claim we are not their rivals" .... Andy Johnson, Alan Rogers, Franz Carr, Phil Gee, Gerry Daley .... definitely not Garry Parker, Steve Howard and probably Matt Oakley though.
Davies looked pretty well washed up when he arrived (wasn't he our record signing at the time?) so he fitted in well with McLintock's mates and the remnants of Bloomfield's dream team. In that sea of dross why pick him out as the worst?

No mention here for Alan Maybury? I'll sling him in then. Gave me nightmares. But then again that entire team almost made me give up on football altogether. If anyone had told me then that we'd win the PL within a decade I'd have drowned them in the cut for taking the piss.
On the whole though I have to agree with Tommy English. I saw the useless **** every week, home & away. One of the very few players I saw at that time that made me think "**** me...if he can be a pro I surely can?" Shit haircut too.
