Not sure if anybody would know as I can not find anything, but how many tickets have been sold??
OS is pushing the tickets again and no mention of numbers sold.

Looks like sales may be low - they gave a deadline for cheap tickets for season ticket holders 2 weeks ago - and now the offer is back... strange!

What do they expect? People need a holiday - I have had to bring mine forward a week just so that i can go to the first 2 games. I'm not cancelling it for some tourney with no real meaning. :roll:

I think you are right in the way that there are no 'big' clubs taking part, so those that were borderline on going are not going to bother as the other teams are not really worth it.
Maybe it would have been better to have one game and getting a higher profile opposition.
Easy to say after the event and I can see the reason for doing what they are doing.

it was a good idea, it's just i can't really afford it but watching a south american team would have swayed it for me, instead going to watch the 20-20 final with leicestershire, hope they win it this time!!

20-20 final is the weekend after, same day as the west ham game. i was going to the 20-20 as we missed going last year, but i dont want to miss the west ham game.

I'm sorry - I'm not surprised

I still have a big overdraft after paying for my 2 season tickets - I'm not spending another £30 and an extra round trip to Leicester (plus cancelling my hols) just to watch a pre-season kick about... and I imagine many others feel the same. It takes up a whole weekend too!

One game against Real Mallorca for instance would have attracted much more interest... (I'd still have been on holiday though)

I would have gone to see Boca as they are probably one of the best football teams in the world at the moment. Watched them many times last season and wonderful to watch, only thing is Abbondanzieri, Rodriguez, Tevez are all playing for Argentina in the Copa America anyway so it wouldnt have been 1st 11.

I wont go the tournament, to be quite frank its absolute shite, Real Mallorca arnt even brining half there decent players, Maritimo are english div 1 standard and East Bengal are just a joke.

Why didnt we just go for 1 big friendly again like Barcelona? :?

cos of the deal with east bengal, and cos we want more revenue form the 2 days gate receipts.
