Torres to Chelsea (£40m + Anelka)
Carroll to Liverpool (£30m)
Charlie Adam and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could also be moving.
Konchesky has already gone to Forest on loan.

I only thought it was interesting as it was one of the worst bits of business this year (signing for Liverpool for ~£3-4m), and that he's now gone to Forest.

Not quite on the scale of the ridiculous £30m bid for Carroll being reported, granted.

Personally think the bid for Suarez is OTT. Top goalscorers in the Eredivise haven't fare well in England. As for Carroll, laughable :icon_lol:....if he ever played in European competition, he'd be laughed off the field.

Sunderland have signed an excellent player in Sessègnon from PSG.

Similarly, I heard over the weekend Ivan Rakitic from Schalke, the Croatia international has been signed by Sevilla for £1.2 million...the same price Norwich have agreed with Brighton for Elliott Bennett.

I think Konchesky to Forest is a good move for them. Not massive but clubs in this league will value Premiership experience and I always thought Konchesky was a half decent player.

Hopefully we will bring in a few more before the window shuts. If we can get Given in that would obviously be pretty massive, Ricardo is a big name too - we are talking about players with masses of international experience.

Another question. A player can only play for 2 clubs in a season. Does this not include lean signings?

(Oxford United's deal for winger Jennison Myrie-Williams has collapsed because of Fifa regulations. The U's signed the 22-year-old last week but because he has already played for two clubs this season (St Johnstone and Dundee United), the deal has been prohibited.)

Whereas Paul Konchesky has signed for Forest on loan after having played for Fulham and Liverpool, Same for Davies having played for us and Villa but has gone to B'ham.

First question, no idea. The reason the English transfer window is closing at 11pm is to meet the European deadline of midnight.

Second question...that relates to 'foreign' countries and registering the players. If a player is on loan in England, he's registered still to his parent club. However, once he moves to another country that's a new registration to FIFA regardless of it being a loan or transfer.
