Uploading portrait pictures

I'm having trouble uploading portrait pictures. Having taken them on my own camera, they appear in File Explorer in landscape, so I then rotate to get them in the correct orientation. When I upload them to TB though they go back to their landscape orientation and I don't seem to be able to do anything about it.

Any suggestions? Those that don't want to see any of my pictures, portrait or otherwise, need not reply.

Try rotating them in a proper photo editing program.

Windows picture viewer will do the job too.
