RUN FOR YOUR LIFE, THE SKY IS FALLING DOWN!!!

I know the olypic tourch is a hoax, the email has been around since the winter olypics.

You can subscribe to anti-virus newsletters on Symantec.com or nai.com which will keep you informed with the real threats that are going around.

Don't worry, Chicken Licken - we'll soon have you out of here.

I can't believe people are still getting caught out by these hoaxes.

I've deleted it from Steven's post so no gullible people start emailing it around. There's enough spam going around without rubbish like this.

How to spot a hoax virus warning:

If it says to forward it to everyone in your address book, it's almost certainly a hoax.

If it doesn't contain a date to say when the alleged virus outbreak started, it's almost certainly a hoax.

If it makes claims about it being reported by seemingly reliable sources (the BBC, CNN etc), but doesn't link to a story on their website, it's almost certainly a hoax.

I can't believe that people get caught out by phishing emails, but they do.

I can't believe that people will flush the toilet seven times when asked to do so by somebody who comes to the door and says he's from the water board. Nor can I believe that people keep £42,000 under the bed so that the bloke who says he's from the water board's mate can just come in and walk off with it - but it happened within ¼ of a mile of me last week.

What are you planning on spending it on?

I saw this asian guy drop his wallet the other day in Milton Keynes shopping centre, so I picked it and followed him, when I handed it back he said, as a kind of reward, not to go to london on august the 12th....:icon_roll

...I was more grateful for the £150 I lifted out of his wallet to be fair....:)

I had something similar happen to me. I handed back a wallet to a bloke and he thanked me, and told me not to go to Milton Keynes. I asked him why, and he said because it's a shit hole.

Would that I had half that amount to ponder over!!

It's an easy way of 'earning' a living - but I wonder how long it lasted the scrotes that nicked it.

That's fecking regionalist you bigot. I demand webbo be banned for airing views that clearly show his provincialistic leanings....

Come on Steven, shout my rights for me....:icon_bigg
