not looked at it for about 5 years, post up the problem though you never know somebody might have some inspiration to offer.

i think i've solved it, but i really thought it should have worked in teh first place

on the items collection of a folder object, if you do a for each..next loop and move some/all out to another folder...

it leaves some in...

is this some weird moving-along-to-the-next one thing?

i solved it by doing a for next loop countnig down from the items.count to 1

but it just felt like i was treating the symptoms and not the cause...
