WANTED - decent Android news app

Anyone recommend one? Must be able to download all articles for later off-line reading and the text must be fully resizeable. Just want to fire it up, press sync or likewise and then have everything cached for later.

The Guardian app does the job but it insists on turning of my Wi-Fi connection after it has downloaded.

Google Current is cracking. Exactly what you need. I also use PulseNews for aggregating my RSS feeds (webcomics etc).

I was comparing it to the Guardian app which is better for what I want.

I have now discovered that the Guardian app I was using wasn't the full 'proper' Guardian app. The correct one doesn't turn off my Wi-Fi after syncing so I am happy again now. (for a while anyway!)

What didn't you like about Currents?

I've given it another go and I think I've sussed out the 'sync' now. Previously it didn't seem to download all I wanted for offline use but now I have noticed a download bar discretely placed towards the top which downloads content first and then, I assume, the images.

Before I was setting to 'sync now' and the indicator at the bottom of the screen would go out making me think it had finished. Now I've noticed the bar at the top I can see it obviously hadn't finished!
