This is one instance where opinion is irrelevant. He did miss a lot of sitters

I had a season ticket that season, mundane football with no gameplan. Connolly rarely had a feckin chance to miss a sitter, he was not great, but he was a good goalscorer at this level and no more than that.

In a comparison piece of crap City strikers, I can remember some of Akinbiyi's misses (Liverpool over the bar and Kop from 2 yrs out) but I cant remember Connolly missing any sitters.

Do what you want, a lot of fans are blinkered when it comes to Connolly so I do't expect to win.
