granted its not the worst film ever and i suppose its really not that bad. but as a sequel it totally killed what the first matrix movie achieved by ruining the story and going up its own arse.

good call, The Matrix was a great film, i haven't even seen the third one cos the second was so bad

the first was an intriguing idea about earth being a parallel world, the second was no-brain special-effects' fest of breathtaking unoriginality: a chosen one, bad guys after him, saves his people even the bible copied that story line
